Florida Adoption Reunion Registry

The Florida Adoption Reunion Registry (FARR) was established in 1982 by the Florida Legislature for people affected by adoption in Florida to have the opportunity to reunite. Currently FARR has more than 10,000 people listed on the registry and is facilitating 6 to 8 reunions a month. FARR is operated by the state of Florida Department of Children and Families. If two (or more) people affected by an adoption in Florida lists themselves on the registry, then FARR gets them in touch with each other.

Florida Adoption Council

The Florida Adoption Council is a not for profit state wide association of adoption professionals, including attorneys, agencies and social workers, dedicated to the furtherance and improvement of the adoption process within the state of Florida.


Founded in 1974 by adoptive parents, the North American Council on Adoptable Children is committed to meeting the needs of waiting children and the families who adopt them. Since its inception, NACAC's mission has remained essentially unchanged.
